What's the difference between slim and modern fit?

Our Modern Fit is a traditional suit fit with subtle differences in look to give it a modern edge. Our Slim Fit is going to take the traditional suit and make it fit closer to your body. The jacket lapels are a little thinner, the arm holes sit a little higher and the pants are more tapered. All models in the photos are wearing Slim Fit suits. Modern fit suits have the same fabric and color as the Slim Fit but give you more room if that is your preference.

Tom Greco

Founder

Tom Greco is a first-generation Italian-American. He was born and raised in the United States but brought up in a close-knit Italian family of Calabrian and Sicilian origin with a love of making exquisite clothes. From a young age, he witnessed firsthand the craft of traditional Italian clothes making from his grandmother and aunts who were skilled seamstresses. He remembers watching the spools of thread move on the sewing machine as his grandmother pushed back and forth on the manual foot pedal. As the fabric fed into the machine, he could see how she stitched everything together to perfection, paying attention to every detail. Tom got his start helping friends and family select and procure suiting for special occasions and soon decided to create his own line of menswear that had all the aesthetic and comfort features his clients had been asking for. His suits are made to meet the highest quality standards while keeping manufacturing costs, and in turn, pricing as low as possible. Starting his own business was not without its challenges. With the global pandemic having a negative impact on local businesses he decided to launch an online store called Tomasso Black with that same personal touch. He takes pride in being able to help customers find the perfect look and fit every time. Tom is incredibly humbled to be able to pursue his true passion, to create a menswear brand that could bring traditional elements of fine Italian heritage and style to meet the needs of contemporary gentlemen. Tomasso Black strives to treat every customer like the family. The highest level of customer satisfaction and personalized service is always guaranteed.
