Save RSVP answers to your guest list
Connect the questions of your RSVP form to guest fields, so applying a reply fills them in.
A question is what the guest sees; a field is where you keep the answer in your guest list — the RSVP status, the meal, a field of your own. Connect the two, and applying a reply fills in the field.
Step by step
Step 1Connect a choice
Under an answer, click Connect field (or the badge showing how many fields are connected). In Where should responses be saved? click Choose field, pick the field and the value this answer sets — for example RSVP status → Confirmed both, or Meal → “Fish”.

Step 2Connect a written answer
For a one-line or multi-line question, click Connect field on the question’s bar and choose the field that should receive the text — the comment or a text field of your own.
Step 3Missing a field?
Click Add custom field in the same window to create one — see Custom fields.
Step 4Apply the replies
Nothing changes in the guest list until you apply a reply. Then every connected field is filled in — see Review RSVP responses.
What can be filled in
The RSVP status, the side, the sex, the main course, the comment, the dietary restrictions (the built-in dietary question), and your own fields — text, yes/no and extra events.
Tips and important notes
- Keep every answer of the attendance question connected to the RSVP status — that is what tells you who is coming.
- A reply to a question without a connection still arrives, but nothing is copied to the guest’s profile.
- One answer can fill in more than one field. Disconnect removes a connection.
