Seating cards by table

One card per table listing the guests who sit there — for a seating board at the entrance.

Seating Cards by Table makes one card for every table with the names of the guests seated at it. Hang them on a board at the entrance so guests find their table.

Step by step

  1. Step 1Open the seating cards

    In Seating Chart & Supplies choose Seating Cards by Table under the reception chart and click Click here to edit layout. The arrows page through the tables.

  2. Step 2Set the card size

    With nothing selected, the panel shows Layout settings: the Width and the minimal Height (in inches or centimetres) and Rounded corners. When a table’s list doesn’t fit, that one card grows taller by itself.

  3. Step 3Style the guest names

    Click the names on the card. The Guest list panel opens:

    • Font and Font size;
    • Line spacing and Margin bottom;
    • Display names as — full names, first names only, or first names with the first letter of the surname;
    • Sort guest’s name in alphabetic — puts the names in alphabetical order.

  4. Step 4Change the heading

    Click the heading at the top of the card (“Table”) to change its Headline text, font and size. Drag the texts to move them on the card.

  5. Step 5Download

    File → Download PDF file downloads every card (Premium). Reset layout to default state at the bottom of the layout settings brings the card back to how it started.

Tips and important notes

  • Only seated guests are listed. Seat everyone first — see Seat your guests.
  • The table name on the card comes from the seating chart; rename the table there to change it.
  • Rows of chairs don’t get a seating card.
