Plus-ones

Add a guest’s plus-one to the list, or let guests bring one through the RSVP form.

A plus-one is a guest like any other: to get a seat, a meal and a place card, they need their own place in the list. There is no “+1” switch on a guest.

When you know who is coming

  1. Add the plus-one as a guest of their own — the Partner role fits.
  2. Type their name. Don’t know it yet? Write something like “Anna +1” and change it later.
  3. Put both guests in the same family, so they stay together and can answer the RSVP together — see Families and households.

Let guests bring someone

On your wedding website, add the Plus one (option) question to the RSVP form (see Set up your RSVP form). Guests can then add the person they bring. Each plus-one arrives in your responses marked as added by the guest who brought them; attach it to a guest or create a new guest from it — see Review RSVP responses.

The RSVP form with one plus-one added: Will you be bringing a guest? set to 1, and the plus-one’s name, attendance and dietary questions

Tips and important notes

  • In the question’s settings you choose how many people each guest may bring.
  • Seat the plus-one next to their guest on the seating chart — see Seat your guests.
