◆VMG’s concept of a destination wedding

Looking at Japan’s destination wedding market, I believe Okinawa, which is also a popular vacation destination, is number one. 
 However, at VMG, we hope to provide weddings where people can witness scenery and experience culture that they can only find in Japan. 
 For example, our venue in Kyoto offers an opportunity for people to hold weddings in a building that has been designated as a Cultural Property or to hold a traditional Shinto style wedding ceremony. 
 We also operate a building designed by the renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando along with a venue in Osaka Castle, which are both locations that provide the quintessential Japanese experience.
 By providing a unique and valuable experience, we aim to create a lifelong memory for our customers.

What type of weddings does VMG offer?

"In general, our focus is not on photo weddings or ceremonies that can also be offered by other companies but rather to invite couples who wish to hold a party with guests.

This is because we want to take full advantage of our company’s two strengths.

What makes a VMG wedding special?

From a wedding that is also meant to be a family vacation to a party where guests from all over the world are invited, couples can choose the size of their wedding accordingly. 
They can also choose a venue that matches their expectations such as venues in Kyoto or in Osaka Castle that have a traditional Japanese atmosphere, or a venue designed by the world-famous architect Tadao Ando. 
With VMG, you can hold weddings in locations that would be considered unique even in Japan.
We offer French inspired courses using Japanese ingredients like Wagyu Beef and matcha.
But, we also provide flexible support in terms of food as we can prepare menus that are based on typical Japanese cuisine or vegetarian menus.
Embodying the spirit of Japanese hospitality, we welcome all our guests with care and respect.
As part of personalized planning for each couple, a dedicated planner will be assigned to provide support in English.
We offer traditional Japanese activities such as performances by Geiko and Maiko along with Kagami Biraki, the ceremonial opening of a Japanese Sake cask.
Our unique buildings allow our guests to relax and enjoy the local atmosphere.

◆FUNATSURU KYOTO KAMOGAWA RESORT（KYOTO-city KAWARAMACHI along Kamo River）◆

This is a former distinguished Ryotei Ryokan, or traditional Japanese restaurant with an inn, that was established 150 years ago and has been designated as a National Tangible Cultural Property. 
Here, you can enjoy the atmosphere along the Kamo River that is representative of Kyoto and also the Japanese culture through the traditional Japanese wooden architecture.

◆AKAGANE RESORT KYOTO HIGASHIYAMA1925（KYOTO-city HIGASHIYAMA near KIYOMIZU temple） 
Located in Higashiyama, a major tourist destination in Kyoto, this is a venue where you can feel quintessential Kyotoness. The building is the former residence of the owner of a copper manufacturer. 
 One step into the venue and you will enter a garden, which feels like a forest and will make you forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

◆Heian Jingu Shrine（KYOTO-city Okazaki ） ◆
Heian Jingu Shrine was one of famous shrine of Japan.
Heian Jingu Shrine built during the Meiji era and offers the opportunity to hold a traditional Shinto style wedding ceremony.
 The party venue also has a view of a beautiful garden that has been designated as a National Garden of Scenic Beauty.

This venue boasts the best view of the central castle tower of Osaka Castle. 
 Surrounded by gardens and built for APEC, this venue also received attention globally as the location where the dinner for G20 was held.

This venue was designed by the world-famous architect, Tadao Ando.
