The catering view: meals on the chart

See each guest’s main course and dietary note on the seating chart, for the caterer.

A reception chart has two views. Seating shows who sits where; Catering shows what each guest eats.

Step by step

Step 1Switch to the catering view
Click Catering at the top left of the editor, or above the chart’s preview.
Step 2Read the plates
Every seated guest has a plate with the icon of their main course; an empty plate means no meal is chosen yet. A red mark points out a guest with a dietary restriction or allergy.
Step 3Give it to the caterer
The PDF can include a Catering layout page and a Dietary restrictions page — choose them in Export settings. See Download your seating chart as a PDF.

Set the dishes and each guest’s meal in the guest list — see Main course options and Dietary restrictions and allergies.
Ceremony charts have no catering view.
