Custom fields
Add your own fields to every guest — a hotel, a transfer, a phone number, a yes or no, an extra event or the guest’s table.
Need to keep more about your guests than the built-in fields? Add a field of your own. It appears in every guest’s profile and as a column in the Full table view.
Step by step
Step 1Open the fields
Open Settings → Input fields above the guest list (or Guests’ profile attributes and fields at the bottom of any profile). The window lists every field.

Step 2Add a field
Click Add custom input field, type the Field name (up to 35 characters), choose the Field type and click Add custom input field:
- String - single line — a short answer: a hotel, a transfer, a phone number.
- Text - multiple lines — a longer note.
- Boolean - toggle — yes or no with a switch: needs a transfer, gift received.
- RSVP event - widget — a separate invitation with its own statuses, such as a rehearsal dinner or a brunch.
- Seating Chart - table name — the guest’s table on the seating chart you pick. It fills itself in.

Step 3Fill it in
Type the value in the guest’s profile, or click the cell in the Full table view and type there.
Order, hide or delete fields
- Drag the fields to change their order in the profile and the table.
- The Visibility switch hides a field you don’t use, including built-in ones such as the comment.
- Click a custom field’s name to rename it.
- The bin deletes a custom field and its values from every guest. Built-in fields can only be hidden.
- Incremental ID gives every guest a number — handy for numbered paper RSVP cards. It is hidden until you switch it on.
Tips and important notes
- Answers from the RSVP form on your wedding website can be saved into a custom field — choose it under Where should responses be saved?. See Set up your RSVP form.
- An e-mail address or a phone number kept in a custom field can be used when you send personal invitation links.
- When you import a list, columns that don’t match a built-in field can become custom fields — see Import your guest list from Excel, CSV or a photo.
- Custom fields are exported with the list; choose which ones in Export settings.
