How RSVPs work
Guests answer on your wedding website; you review each answer and apply it to your guest list.
Guests reply through the RSVP form on your wedding website. Every reply lands in your guest list as a response, and you decide which guest it belongs to — nothing in your list changes until you do.
Step by step
Step 1Your website already has an RSVP form
The first time you open Website, a website is created for your project with an RSVP form on it and published straight away. You can change the questions — see Set up your RSVP form.
Step 2Send the invitations
Send each guest their personal invitation link: it opens your website with the guest’s name already filled in, and a family answers together. Anyone who uses the common link types their name, and the site looks them up in your list. See Personal invitation links.
Step 3Guests answer
The guest says whether they are coming — to the ceremony, the reception, both, not at all, or not sure yet — adds dietary needs, a plus-one and a comment, and clicks Submit.

Step 4The answers arrive in your guest list
At the top of the Guest List you see how many responses are waiting, and a number appears next to Guest List in the menu. If you have an account with a verified e-mail, you also get an e-mail.

Step 5Apply each answer
Click Apply action and attach the response to the right guest — their RSVP status updates at once. See Review RSVP responses.
Tips and important notes
- Answers never change your list on their own. That keeps strangers and typos out of it.
- Guests can only answer while the website is published (The website is published in Basic settings).
- You can always set a guest’s status by hand too — click the dot to the left of their name in the Guest List.
