Stationery from your seating chart
Place cards, table numbers, seating cards, a guest list poster, a welcome sign, a menu and a program — made from your reception chart.
Your reception chart already knows every guest’s name, table and meal, so the stationery is made from it. When you move a guest to another table, the place card, the seating card and the guest list poster change with it.
What you can make
- Classic Name Cards — a name card for every guest, with the table and the meal icon.
- Table Numbers — a card for every table.
- Seating Cards by Table — one card per table with the names of the guests who sit there.
- Alphabetical Guest Atlas — a poster with every guest from A to Z and their table.
- Welcome Sign — a poster for the entrance.
- Reception Menu and Wedding Program — the dishes and the schedule of the day.
Step by step
Step 1Find the stationery of your reception chart
Open Seating Chart & Supplies, choose the reception chart and scroll down to Based on the seating chart. A new project already has five items there: Seating Cards by Table, Alphabetical Guest Atlas, Classic Name Cards, Table Numbers and Reception Menu.

Step 2Add another item
Click + next to the items. Under New layout pick the kind you need, or choose Copy Existing Layout to duplicate one you already have.

Step 3Preview and edit
Click an item to see its preview under the list; for cards, the arrows page through them. Click Click here to edit layout to open its editor. Everything you change is saved automatically — Close takes you back.

Step 4Download the print file
Click Download PDF file under the preview, or open File in the editor. Downloading needs Premium — see What is free and what Premium adds.
Rename, copy or delete an item
Right-click an item in the list for Rename, Duplicate and Delete. Export settings under the preview changes the item’s Title and has Delete layout.
Tips and important notes
- On the free plan you can make and edit one item of each kind. A second item of the same kind, copies and the PDF downloads need Premium.
- A reception chart can hold up to 12 stationery items.
- Stationery belongs to a reception chart — a ceremony chart has none. When you copy a chart, its stationery is copied with it (see Create a seating chart).
- Print on thick paper or card stock — any subtly coloured or textured card works.
- The stationery editors are easiest to use on a computer.
