Extra events: a rehearsal dinner, a brunch, an after-party
Invite some guests to another event, show them its details and collect their replies separately.
Another event gets its own status in the guest list, its own section on the website and its own question in the RSVP form — so the replies stay apart from the wedding’s.
Step by step
Step 1Add the event to the guest list
In the Guest List, open Settings → RSVP settings → Add new event and name it. Every guest gets a status for it — see RSVP statuses.
Step 2Show the details to the invitees only
On your website, add a section with the event’s date and place and open its settings (the gear). Choose Selected guests only and tick the invited guests — the section is then hidden from everyone else. This needs Premium.

Step 3Ask about it in the RSVP form
Add a question such as “Will you come to the rehearsal dinner?” with the answers Yes and No — see Set up your RSVP form. To ask only the invitees, set Who can see this question? to the same guests (Premium).
Step 4Connect the answers to the event
Under Yes, click Connect field → Choose field, choose the event and the status Confirmed; under No, the same event with Canceled. See Save RSVP answers to your guest list.
Step 5Send the personal links
Selected-guest sections and questions only show up through personal invitation links, so send those — and test one invited and one non-invited guest’s link first.
Tips and important notes
- An event open to everyone, such as a brunch for all guests, doesn’t need Premium: ask the question to everyone.
- For an event that needs a whole page of its own, you can make another website in the same project (Premium). It shares your guest list.
- Decide with Who should answer this question? whether each family member answers or only the person filling in the form.
