Review RSVP responses

Attach each reply from your website to the right guest, create a new guest from it, or delete it.

Replies from your website wait at the top of the Guest List until you apply them. Applying a reply is what updates the guest’s RSVP status and the other details it answers.

Step by step

  1. Step 1Open the waiting responses

A number next to Guest List in the menu tells you how many replies are waiting. Open the Guest List: the responses are at the top, each with the guest’s answers. Click Apply action.

  2. Step 2Choose what to do with it

    • Attach the response to a guest — the site suggests the guest on your list whose name matches.
    • Create a new guest from this response — if this person is not on your list yet; you choose their role.
    • Delete this response — for a test reply, a duplicate or someone who was not invited.

  3. Step 3Check the result

The guest’s RSVP status — and every detail the form saves to the guest list, such as the main course — is updated, and the reply stays with the guest so you can read it later.

Tips and important notes

  • A plus-one or a family member named in the form arrives as a reply of their own, marked with the name of the guest who added them.
  • Guests cannot edit a reply they have sent; if they send the form again, you get a new response to apply.
  • You can also change any guest’s status by hand with the dot to the left of their name.

Troubleshooting

No responses arrive.
Check that the website is published and the RSVP form is not limited to personal links you have not sent yet — see Set up your RSVP form.
I applied a response but the status did not change.
The attendance question must be connected to the RSVP status (Connect field under the question in the website editor).
